We offer expert-level training tailored to help you sharpen your skills. Whether you're looking to develop your individual technique or prepare for the next level, this clinic is the perfect opportunity.
At MCW Starz, our clinics are intensive, focus-driven training sessions designed to help athletes master the technical and tactical aspects of basketball. Unlike traditional practices, clinics provide a deep dive into specific skill sets—like shooting, ball handling, and game IQ—under the guidance of elite AAU-level coaches. We offer two distinct formats to fit your schedule and development goals:
One-Day Clinics provide a high-intensity “skill-burst” perfect for rapid execution and repetition,
Multi-Day Clinics offer a comprehensive curriculum that blends progressive drills with scrimmages to build lasting confidence and court awareness.
Whether you’re a 5th grader finding your rhythm or a high school senior prepping for the next level, our clinics provide the competitive edge you need to succeed.
At MCW Starz, every training session is considered a clinic — whether it’s a single day or a multi-day experience. This ensures consistent, high-quality instruction that aligns with our player development philosophy.
Perfect for athletes looking to focus on specific skills in a short, high-intensity setting. These clinics emphasize skill execution, repetition, and game-speed drills that players can immediately apply on the court.
Designed for athletes who want to dive deeper into development. Multi-day clinics build on core skills day after day — blending drills, scrimmages, and performance training to strengthen both fundamentals and basketball IQ.

MCW Starz is an AAU girls’ basketball program that helps players build their skills, play against top competition, and grow as strong, confident athletes.
MCW Starz was founded by Mandy Carter-Zegarowski, with support from her son Michael Carter-Williams, an NBA player and former Rookie of the Year
Our program is open to girls in grades 5–12. Teams and workouts are grouped by age and skill level so everyone gets the right amount of challenge.
MCW Starz supports athletes off the court by focusing on life skills such as confidence building, academic success, leadership, and handling challenges.
The mission of MCW Starz is to change the lives of players, fostering development in basketball skills, teamwork, leadership, and self-confidence while preparing them for success both on and off the court.
Over 120 girls have gone on to play college basketball, thanks to the training, coaching, and recruitment support provided by MCW Starz.
