Coach
Jessica DiMaria Barnes has a lifelong passion for basketball, both as a player and a coach. A former Division I athlete, Jessica played at Northeastern University, where she served as a two-time team captain and helped lead the Huskies to an America East Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999.
After her playing career, Jessica transitioned into coaching and player development, bringing her experience and deep understanding of the game to the next generation of athletes. As co-owner of Next Level Training and Development, her business focuses on player development, basketball IQ, and mental preparation, helping players refine their technique and compete at a higher level. She has coached a number of youth teams in the Worcester County area since 2017. In 2024, she joined the middle school coaching staff MCW Starz.
Her coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, work ethic, and confidence-building, ensuring that athletes not only improve their skills but also develop the mindset needed for success on and off the court. With years of experience in leadership, coaching, and player development, Jessica is dedicated to helping athletes push their limits and reach their full potential.
