Michael Carter-Williams is a former NBA guard and 10-year professional whose career has been defined by leadership, resilience, and impact. After a standout high school career and collegiate success at Syracuse University, he was selected 11th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft and went on to earn the 2014 NBA Rookie of the Year award.
Since retiring, Michael has expanded his influence beyond the court. He is the founder of a new NIL agency supporting collegiate athletes and leads MCW Enterprises, a consulting and investment firm focused on sports, real estate, private equity, technology, and media. He has also served as an ESPN analyst, bringing professional insight and perspective to the game.
Michael is deeply involved in and committed to MCW Starz, serving as Co-Founder and Ambassador. He actively supports the program’s growth, mentorship, and mission to empower young athletes, contributing his time, leadership, and network in every way he can.
Off the court, he is a devoted father who remains passionate about mentorship, entrepreneurship, and giving back to the community.
